Privacy by product design

Personal learning without turning it into surveillance.

HOOSHGAM keeps only the data needed to deliver, secure, and improve the learning experience. Public-page measurement remains separate from learner identity and question content.

The plain-language version

Parent reports show learning evidence and the recommended next action. Chat transcripts are not shown in parent reports by default.

Data needed to provide the service

Essential account information and learning events are processed to create an account, preserve learning history, deliver practice, and manage subscriptions. Bank-card details stay with the payment provider; HOOSHGAM receives the server-confirmed transaction result.

Anonymous public-page measurement

The landing funnel uses a random, temporary sessionStorage identifier. Raw marketing events are deleted after 90 days.

  • Events do not contain prompts, names, phone numbers, email addresses, user IDs, school, or grade.
  • Full referrers, user agents, and IP addresses are not persisted for this marketing report.
  • Public-page events are suppressed when Do Not Track is enabled.

Learner and parent boundaries

Parent reporting is designed to support learning, not to expose every conversation. An authorized parent can see progress patterns, remaining risks, and the next action; transcripts are hidden by default.

Your choices and requests

A learner or authorized guardian can use account settings and authenticated support to review, correct, or raise a request about account data. Account controls limit who can access reports.
